What a Crazy Day

I've had a rather interesting day...I decided that since nothing was happening with a job that I would volunteer - so I headed down to the Registry Office to visit Sue - I used to work with her at the lawyer's office, she was an assistant but then left to become a title searcher - so anyways- I go to see her and I'm like - would u be willing to let me volunteer with u? She said - yes! I'm so swamped! I could use the help!! And I'll pay u for it - I'm like - really? sweet...and she's like - yeah - so how does 10-3 everyday sound? can u start Monday?? I'm like - can I start Tuesday (going out of town) and she was all over it - so I'm like - cool - and then the girl working beside her said - I could use extra help too - and I'll pay u - just pick up odd hours here and there - so I figure I can get at least a 30 hour week in every week - which isn't too shabby - so I'm a happy girl! And not bad being as I was gonna do it for free lol - so I came right home and told my mom and then phoned my dad and then headed down to the man-whore and told them that I was putting in my resignation - I'm sooo gonna cry on my last day lol - I was all excited to tell them that I was leaving then I got all teary lol - but it'll be good to get out of there - I can't believe I've been there for 3 and a half years...yesh lol - it'll be sad to go - but it had to happen sooner or later.

I got my car insurance quote back today too - and it's less than what we were paying before - so today has been a great day! :D

Our Girl Got Married!!

Speaking to you as one of the rejects from table 12... I have many stories to share from the wedding of Kim and Ian! Where do I begin...

I'm almost to Ian's house when my cell phone rings...It's Nikki calling to inform me that she got all the way to Caledon before she realized that her wedding outfit was still hanging in her closet in Sarnia...I burst out laughing and say - ur kidding right?? but no she wasn't - her and Stacey had to boot it down to Brampton to get her a new outfit and make it back to the wedding by 2...they made it back by 1:50 lol - right on time!

I got to the house around 12:30 and hung out with some of Ian's relatives until Jaclyn and Adam showed up then I got to catch up with them. We all went to sit outside for the wedding...man was it hot - but it was a beautiful ceremony and Kim was so pretty!! It was a nice short wedding but very sweet. We then headed out to find our way to the hotel - we made a wrong turn..but fortunatly for us we found the right street and made it to the hotel in good time. I must say I rather enjoyed their strict rules on having photo ID and being 21 to rent a room....I handed them my credit card and Stacey handed them her drivers license and they didn't care lol - so I'm Lindsay Plumley of Sarnia according to the Holiday Inn in Brampton...

We then had about an hour to bum around the hotel...so we went to the bar lol - it was friggin expensive and the service was horrible so we left. Then they had a lobby reception where we hung out for like an hour then they let us into the coldest room I've ever been in!! The reception hall was freezing cold ...luckily I had changed into pants - but I was wearing a halter so top half was a tad chilly lol - but Adam let me wear his jacket - so I was good. Then we had a really nice dinner and the speeches were all very nice.

Then the open bar was well...open lol - by the end of the nite Nikki and I just had to walk up to the bar and she would start mixing our drinks lol - we had such a good time and danced the nite away!! We got many pics - the ones below are from my camera - I think Stacey got over 100 pics and I have no idea how many Jac and Adam got - but we have the nite well documented.

It was a great day - Congratulations to Kim and Ian Zeddle!! :D

Nikki...you can fill in the blanks here - there were many other funny stories...the hangover still has me a little foggy on everything lol - I'll try to write more later!!
