700!

Lol I always seem to get the big number blogs eh??

Well after I read the email about the bastard kids ur babysitting - I coulnd't believe it!! Who are these kids!! Devils...little devils. It's worth so much more than $200 - especially when u have to dicipline them and then have them tell u to Fuck off...not good. I would have smacked them upside the head...but then again - I wouldn't agree to babysit lol - I don't like kids - and now it's been confirmed as to why.

Ju came over for a bit today - we were looking through my old yearbooks...man some of the comments in there were awesome!! One girl wrote "We'll have so much fun this summer cause u and me will be hanging out! Well...if I'm not busy." Lol - burst out laughing - who writes that?? lol - and I'm not friends with her anymore - so I guess she got too busy. There were definatly some classics in there - we laughed lots. It was good times!! haha

But other than that nothing going on.

Let's just make one thing clear

If i had been working at my old desk with my old boss...we so would have had 1000 blogs..lol but now i'm scared and actually have to work...I actually learned to day that i'm doing the work of a legal secretary who's been doing this for over 20 years...no wonder nothing makes sense to me...been doing lot's of annual resolutions for companies did like 15 between yesterday and today....now if i see anothe rminute book i'm gonna barf

nothing new to report except that i can't believe 12 year old says "fuck off"..lol i wont even say it to some people (actually i say it to most people..lol but i'm 21)

howerver..i will be satisfied with 700 post because come on..who knew we had this dedication to do this..lol and some people thought we were slackers!!!!!

We Didn't Make the 1000 Mark

However - I think we could make it to 700 - only 3 posts - and that's not too shabby!! lol Hard to believe we've been doing this for a year now - even harder to believe we've almost been out of school for a year...eek. lol

Nothing much going on here - same old...but sounds like the mail man is here lol - Jake is going balistic - maybe there will be something interesting in there lol.

I've just save $250.00 on my...

birth control..lol..so, so far I've been "disrespectful" to a twelve year old cause he's gotten in trouble for beating his brother and throwing a fit when he loses Mario Kart....and now said child is at home cause he's "not feeling good" convienent....all alone with the playstation 2, game cube, and xbox....oh well that kid is going to be at like 8:00 tonight and not playing any games...if he's too sick to go to school, he's too sick to play games and stay up late....

but guarantee that the other kid will be sick tomorrow...but my mom said that if they are sick, they are coming to our house without the playstation or any fun games....

i'm bored at work as usuall..i heard my boss explaining to clients today when i forget a paper and had to photocopy something (which took 20 seconds)..that "sorry about this...my regular girl is sick"...so i felt oh so special afterwords...

the body works thing sounded fun especially the part where you hurt some poor girls feelings..lol that' smean...and completely unlike you!!! did anyone from Trent make fun of you for not being from Trent? lol cause those were the times!


and i agree...lol we had much more fun (at lease i did) when we lived closer together..now i'm boring and i suck somthing fierce...lol but you have to come down soon!!!!

I Forgot a Funny Story!

Lol so yesterday at the science center since we went with Ju's nursing class - she knew a few people there - well this one girl who is her "friend" aka the annoying girl who kinda follows her and others at school hung out with us. Well I burned her so good and I didn't even mean to!! lol - we were in line for the Body Worlds thing and this girl was telling us the rules and we couldn't hear her and the girl we were with was freaking out cause she couldn't hear - I said don't worry - she just said "Keep all hands and feet in at all times." Ju laughed as she understood the joke...the girl we were with was like "It's a ride???!!" LOL - Ju and I were like - no...I was joking....it was good times...then we accidently lost her in one of the exhibits and had to go back to the bus without her and the bus almost left - but since we're nice we told the driver she wasn't back yet - and she was the last one to get back cause she got lost - I felt bad for her...and karma got me back - I did smack my head on the bus window lol.

I Saw Dead People!!

And it was so cool! lol - The Ontario Science Centre is so cool! Ju and I went there on Saturday to see the Body Worlds exhibit - so interesting - u looked close enough u could see thier eye lashes!! But it was very cool to see everything in plain sight - the human body is an amazing thing!! The bus ride there and back was something too...we got to Trent at 8:30am - my first laugh came when this guy walked onto the bus - jumped up and smashed his head off the roof! lol - I was crying I was laughing so hard - I think it had something to do with it being so early lol. Then we were going down water street - and let me tell u this bus sucked!! we went airbourn like 5 times - but this one was a doosey - literally I think we up in the air like a foot and came down so hard I felt it on my insides. lol - I guess that's what we get for sitting at the very back of the bus. On the way home I was sitting on the seat sideways with my legs hanging off the edge...cause I'm so gangly lol - and was bouncing along when I lost control and smashed my head off the window...it was painful - but made me laugh so it's all good. Then we got home at like 3pm - it was a quick visit lol - so we went to Matt's house to visit with Matt and John. Then home I came - and I was so tired that I was in bed by like 10...I know I'm quite the party animal.

Today I woke up and watched When Harry Met Sally, then I got up and had breaky and then Ryan came over and we watched movies, then dinner and now I'm here blogging.

I hope the babysitting is treating u well!! blog about it - cause I'm sure u've got stories by now!! lol

My Non-Important Blog

Since I to have nothing to report...but probably will after tomorrow (I'm going to Toronto to see dead people! aka the body works exhibit) and being that this is a Mackenzie weekend - it's the perfect time to get out of the house.

The weather is amazing today!! So nice outside - I would take Jake out if he wasn't such an ass whenever he sees another dog lol - altho I might try.

I broke a glass today...and it was so close to hitting my foot - and I had shards of glass surrounding my bare feet...it wasn't a good scene - but I cleaned it all up and threw away the evidence. and hey - one less glass to clean!

I think I might go make some lunch. If I have anything new to report - I'll be sure to post. Looking forward to the babysitting stories!!!


ohh I almost forgot - I was job searching today and I came across this one ad that said the job was mainly data entry and preparation of documents - ie: removing staples. Well first of all I burst out laughing and then I felt really bad for whoever gets that job - cause when removing staples is in the job description - ur guarenteed to be bored and feel that ur job is pointless. lol

This isn't really important or anything

but since we're slacking..lol and i'll admit...it's two sided this time...I'll post about this...so i was reading something on yahoo and saw that Chris Penn had died..now I've always like Chris Penn...maybe cause he wasn't so "I am Samish" like his brother..lol and he was in one of my favourite movies Resovoiur Dogs....so i was a little saddened to hear that he died....which sucks....i could name many untalented people who could kick the can long before I would name him..lol not that i'd cause harm to anyone..but still...that sucks....I will always remember him as the Fanilow in the the Will and Grace episode..trying to get his groove on with Will...



anyways..still nothing to report..tonight is the beginning of my week long punishment for not being able to say no to people! lol i'll tel you all about it!

My Post for Cubbers

She was a good rabbit and put up with a lot of my crap. I threw airplanes at her, I scared her back under the couch more times than I can count, I made loud noises around her - but we had our special moments too - like the one time I held her and she dug her back claws into my leg...aww good times. I think there are still some of her shavings on the futon underneath the new cover lol

She will be missed and we all loved her lots - she was a good surpirse...better than the orgy I thought was gonna happen. Lol

Cubbers

So Cubbers is gone...and last night sucked alot...cause in the past year...there's on been three times that I've been away from her..so it was pretty emotional..but Kim was right..she said that we didn't even think she'd last that long...remember the car accident? The 5 hour long ride home in the back of a U-Haul? Not to mention that last friday i accidentaly locked her in my room with the mean cat...lol however..Cubbley won...and showed who was boss....

but my room is the cleanest it's been since i've moved home..but it's very bare...cubbley for being only 5 pounds took up lots of room...could be that i was messy though....

Anyways..nothing new to report..i bought myself Ben and Gerry's Ice Cream last night to make me feel better...and it did a little...but my dad made me cry last night when he called me....he said that even he liked the little bugger...and he knew how much i loved her, seeing as NO ONE would EVER get a pet and bring it home without asking his permission and suffering the wrath of him..lol....but he said that she was pretty pampered in the year that i had her....and it was better than the Human Society....


anyways...it's cold out and home time...so hopefully something interesting will happen to report...on now i'll be post bitching next week b/c of babysitting!!!

My Election Experience

So yesterday was my first day of work in over a month now lol - and it ruined me!! lol - well not really - it was easy - it was just a long day!! 15 hours sitting at a polling station getting up only once to go to the bathroom - I might as well have been tied to the chair!! However....let's see what I can remember from my super long day. We get there at 8:45am to start setting up our station - all goes well. 9:30am the polls open - we have a line up already - Steph and I are like - but we don't know what we're doing...be patient (yeah the training sucked ass! lol) But we figured it out - it wasn't rocket science by any means - so we were all over it by the second person lol. Our scruteniers was this guy from the conservative party and Peter Adams (the liberal MP that was elected in Peterborough for the past 20 years) so I was all - Peter!! Not to his face but in my head. We also had a hardcore Information Officer that took his job very seriously and whenever anyone came in he would be - u here to vote? where do u live? or even more creepily where do u sleep at nite? Hmm then it was lots of sitting around while people voted - and then the conservative guy came around and asked everyone how they took their coffee and went and got us coffee and Steph and I were all like - yes free coffee!! lol dunno if we were supposed to pay him or not - but whatever - he's conservative - I'm sure he's got money. Then more time passed and I'm really blanking out as to what happened...lol I was amazed at how many people didn't know how to fold paper the same way that u give it to them - mind u they were mostly conservative voters (cause we saw the vote) so I'm not totally shocked. We ended up with 461 votes - and it took us forever to count them!! lol - we started at 9:30 - I think we were done at 10:30...friggin hell. NDP won at our poll - but Conservative won overall... Then we had to get all our shit together and hand it in....11:30 rolls around and we're just getting home - ever so tired and sore - my back was killing me and I had weird bumps on my forearms from the arm rests on the chairs lol - but it was a good expereince...too bad I did all that work just so some used car salesman could win - way to go Peterborough....way to go.

I Have Nothing to Blog!

Lol - I'm not slacking - I just lead a very boring life! It's quite sad! lol - and as for my woodworking project - there will be no pictures cause my digital camera broke and I have no money to replace it right now lol.

Job search is still looking grim...give it time - something will happen - I'll either get a job or go back to school for something else! lol - so the question is - any suggestions as to what I could go back to school for??

I am going to Toronto next weekend with Ju to go to the Body Works exhibit - it should be awesome!! Nothing like seeing dead people!! yeah!! lol

But yeah - I'm just trying to get a hold of my friends so I have something to do this afternoon...and speak of the devil Ju just called - I think I'm gonna go meet her downtown - maybe I'll have more to write later!!

I'm hot stuff

seriously..i am....it's like 120 degrees in here, and i'm all swamp assey....lol...so certain people have been slacking..i won't point fingers...i'll just say it isn't Nikki in the "Nikki and Linds" title of this page....

so since there isn't anything else to write about..i'll give you a recap of csi...so...on the very first episode of the season..they left it hanging that there was someone else who was responsible for kidnapping and trying to kill Nick..they heard an extra voice on the tape that was left in the coffin with him...so last night..nick is at a crime scene and finds a dead accountant..he reads her diary and sees that Kim Gordon..or whatever her name is...was a client (Kim was the daughter or the man who tried killing him, coinsidence or what?)so Nick brings her in...and there is no evidence she was the one who killed the account so she leaves..nick goes on the computer and is putting information in the case file...and he has information about Kim in there cause she was a suspect..well he hits the "similar cases" button and his case comes up..with a "new evidence logged" tag on the front...he listens to the tape and hears that there are two voices ( you see grissom the douchebag didn't tell nick they thought someone else was trying to kill him) so Nick compares the voice on the tape to the tape he got off of the accountant..hoping to catch Kim's voice on it and get her for murder..turns out the Accountant was the other voice on it..in fact....the accountant was the one who said they should kidnap Nick for ransom..and when she didn't get the ransom..cause the man blew himself up...than she stole the money from the guys estate...even though the guy was leaving it to his daughter kim...and that's why kim killed the accountant....so two lessons where learned..

accountants..like lawyers can't be trusted...

Kareoke Nite Was Great!

Lol - I so needed to go out and Kareoke was so much fun! I got there around 9:30 and Matt and Jenn were already there with lots of other people - so we all sat down (they were all pretty drunk as it was lol) Steph and Troy showed up a short time later and so we all chatted and watched the horrible singers. Troy and Matt did an awesome rendition of Snoop Dogg's Drop It Like It's Hot - Lol oh man - too funny!! And Matt sang Cowboy - also awesome lol. I didn't end up singing this time - but it was still lots of fun - I stayed out until like 3am. I had tried to leave at 1:30 - but Matt came outside with me and talked to me in the freezing cold for like half an hour, then John came out and we talked for another half an hour - so it was like 2:30 and I said - well I might as well drive u guys home since the lights are all on inside lol But they had to get pizza first - so they went and ate and then I drove them home - but it was so fun - I need to get out more!! lol

Next weekend we're all dressing up and going to the Second Floor Lounge so that should be fun - I asked Steph what I was supposed to wear and she's like - I dunno - be classy - I'm like - when am I not?? lol So I have to find something "dressy and classy" for next weekend - shouldn't be too hard - it's not like I have slutty clothing! lol

How was the slushy party??!! I want a report!! lol (and recipies if ur drinks were awesome!!)

Nikki here's an interesting tidbit ur sure to love. I've rediscovered Paul Simon! I heart Paul. It's the soundtrack to my childhood and he brings me joy. and is an excellent example of great 80s music!! lol it's been on my cd player for the past couple of days and it's been awesome!

I might be going to the Kareoke bar tonite! lol Matt's going and wants me to go with him and his girlfriend and all her friends - should be fun (and that wasn't sarcasm! lol I like them!) and I probably will end up going - I need to get out of the house for a while.

I found the source of my cold! My window was open the tiniest little crack and it's freezing outside. hazah for me.

Anyways...looking forward to the slushi party stories and pictures!! Party it up!! lol

anyways...cubbleys eye was swelled up to golfball size on wednesday..and it was sealed shut..well yesterday the swelling was down and her eye partially opened up at night...lol but she can't walk very straight since her eyesight is off..so in some sad way..it is comical....however, now when i feed her treats, she tilts her head and chomps down..on anything...i almost lost my finger last night..

ok, nothing new to report except that our building is perched over the water...and apparantly as of yesterday, there was a dead deer....yes you read the right, a dead deer in the water stuck to the side of our building..and so far, no one has come out to clean it up, so ican't wait to see what that smells like, especially since it's so mild out..lol yum...almost lunch time...


oh yeah, and our slushi party is tomorrow..can't wait for it..hopefully some on will email me pics of it, and i can email them to you and you canpost them..lol but i'm buying up the rest of my booze for my slushi killer koolaids and slushi blue lagoons!!!! and slushi vodka..lol if i get desperate!

An Update Blog.

Since nothing is really going on around here - I'm gonna stretch out as much as I can what has happened lol. Let's see - I haven't really been motivated to start a serious job search yet - but I'm sure I will come the end of the week with everyone back in school and at work - I'll get very bored and only be able to stay in the house alone so long. So I figure I'll start my road trips to various towns, scope out the law offices and pay them a visit - it shall be great fun - at least I have a cd player in the car to keep me occupied. lol - and as long as the weather co-operates I should be fine - they are calling for freezing rain....what kind of Canadian winter is this?? rain?? in January??!

umm let's see - this is gonna be really sad if this is all I have to say. Well one thing I don't think I told u - I'm working for the election this year - I'm a poll clerk - I had my training last week - it felt just like school again - 3 hours of trying my best to pay attention while reading through a textbook - reminded me of Corporate law - and we all know how awesome that class was! lol - but yeah - it's gonna be a long day - we are supposed to get to our post by 8:45am and not leave until everything is counted - they guessed 10:30pm...oi - but at least I'm with Steph - so it should be fun - and we have her boyfriend as our go-for lol - he's on food and drink duty. And I get paid like $200 so it all works out.

I think I'm gonna try making bread today - with a breadmaker lol - me and my mom have been craving it for the past two days and I figure I've got nothing better to do - so why not.

Ok..do we remember the panic and all the hoopla i caused over third watch being cancelled? do we..um cause i do..just go back to april archives..lol it was the topic of many of my blogs...but now..arrested development??lol what's wrong with people?? honestly...a show that's won how many awards...on many critics top 10 lists....um sounds like a marketing problem if your not getting the ratings....now i don't know what to do...except cancell all my plans...and watch the first two seasons on dvd...with some vodka..that may make me feel better....


between this and my stalker..lol this is a fantastic year and it's only been 10 days!!!! or 9...i don't know what day it is today..i'm lost without my half naked man calender...

So this is what it feels like to be busy...

who knew hunh?? lol it's going so good right now, despit the fact I just got reamed out by a huge bitch...b/c she got a call from a client saying that they never received money from one of their deals that closed....and since that person was on holidays, i was the one that closed the deal...and i KNOW i called that man's wife and told her that her cheque was here....god people are morons....

anyways...everythings going good, they are keeping me busy, but not overwhelming me...and everyone's nice...again...who knew?

there's not much to report on..except that my mom told me that she looked up that strepicocol or however you spell it, the same thing that woman who's job i'm doing now is sick with...and she said that a strain of it is also a form of meningitis...so now i'm a little worried...my earring is infected..is that related??lol

so um...still nothing new...it's raining/snowing outside....and i can see the water, actually this building perches over the bay..so the water is right underneath me, and if it's windy out, you can hear the waves hit the bottom of the floor...a little creepy if you ask me...

Oh How the Blog is Going to Suffer!

With Nikki no longer able to send emails, write blogs and other various non work related internet activites...well the blog will suffer...as will I - I've grown quite accustom to having emails in my inbox in the morning and it saddens me that there are none now lol...no one else really emails me. But I shall survive...maybe I should try to find one of those job thingys for myself...an idea I'm willing to explore I suppose.

But let me update. Not much has gone on in the past little while - the new year so far has been very lazy and uneventful. I've gotten to hang out with my friends and have also been trapped in my house due to freezing rain. (damn global warming...what happened to winter?!)

Nikki might be going out on a date with her lavalife guy - hopefully it goes better this time then her date did here...maybe cause we all won't be there with her - but I told her I would wear my shirt that day in support.

Hmm other than that - I can't think of anything...I'll try to get a life soon so I have more stuff to post!! lol...Nikki - u need to get internet at home!!
