Everytime I go to court people think I'm the accused! A police officer came up to me today and was all "So ur charged eh?" and I'm like - what?? He says - "Ur the accused?" Lol - That's the second time I've been mistaken for a criminal!

Got an assignment back today...got 50% on it - she's "Marking hard" this semester - well that's all well and good - but if she showed up for class in the first place - maybe we would be able to get better marks - as Nik says "The marks reflect her teaching" and we all know her teaching skills suck.

Ok..so i'm not sure who thought that allowing me to have a credit card would lead to sexy results..or any good results for that matter. Thursday I decided to get those Green Not on my watch bracelets...than Linds and I went to East Side's for dinner...now i want my dvd...it's just racking up the charges..the last month of school too! Ahh Monday.

Nikki pretty much said it all...however I feel the need to respond to her blog. In Civil Pro - I'll admit Bob burned her...and burned her good. And I'm sorry for not defending you - but what was I supposed to say?? At least I don't bike around in spandex?? Lol next time for sure....

Then yes we went to Uxbridge - and what a road trip it was! As we know Kim's car won't let you open the back doors...so of course instead of just going through the front door and behing the seat I feel the need to climb in from the trunk - it was good times - I should be in Circ De Soliel for that performance...twice times - it was fun!!
We only got lost for a few minutes...neither Nik or I can read a map - so Kim had to pull over - but we found our way and halarity ensued! I decided that we needed food and or drink for the ride home and we went to the convience store where Nik gave me the blankest stare ever!! BUt it was great...ahh language barriers - gotta love them.

So, ok I give up trying to learn anything in Bob's class, cause now it's universally known that I'm stupid and I know nothing, despite the fact I know what he was talking about today...i don't live under a rock..and good thing that my friends come to my rescue! So bob asks the class if they know who Terri Schiavo is and I nodded yes as he looked at me. Than he said that you couldn't not know who she was. So kim looked at me cause for that moment she didn't remember who she was and I laughed at her. So in typical Bobert fashion he looked at me and said "Nicole, you don't know who she is" or something like that, and Lindsay and Kim burst out laughing knowing damn well that I knew and that it was Kim's fault. Oh well

So now we go to Uxbridge and I have to pee. So we go into a convience store were with my luck the guy doesn't speak English. I asked if he had a bathroom and he mumbled something at me, so i said Pardon? and he mumbled again while motioning with his hands. Of course he wasn't actually motioning in any certain direction. So i said Bathrooms? Do you have a bathroom? which confused him more so he looked at me..i looked at him...than i looked at linds and kim who were backing away..and i said "I don't live here, do you have bathrooms?" he said nothing just looked... so we left which i'm sure he thought i was the world's biggest bitch!

Hope everyone had a good day and got outside to enjoy the sunshine!! I sure did! I sat outside with my mom and wrote in my journal and watched her spraypaint some pots and plant her plants. Then I made dessert for tonite - I hope it turns out ok lol - I followed the directions....but still. Lol

But other than that haven't really done much today - just hanging out...and talking on the phone. Yeah...the excitment that is....lol

Horse Races!!!

I went to the horse races tonite and it was so much fun! There were 11 races on tonite and we got there by race 2. So for the first couple races I just picked horses and let Ryan bet lol. I picked good horses too - we won $15! (But lost it on the next race when we doubled the bet and the damn horses lost! lol) But it's rather exciting when ur sitting there and ur horses win!!
Definatly worth the drive out to the track.

Hmm let's see - what else happened?? Not too much - we had out Easter dinner tonite...but my parents forgot I was working so I came out of work and saw that they called my cell phone like 3 times and then I got home and they were done eating and I was all - what the hell?? and they were all - where the hell were you?? I was like - at work... they were like...oh didn't think you had to work today...sorry we'll come sit with you while you eat lol.

Our petitioning didn't go as well as planned today tho...so I ate a whole bag of popcorn and then went and got ice cream lol...but Lakefield was a nice drive.

uneventful day

So...this weekend has been about as eventful as last weekend...i'm bored outta my mind...my bunny doesn't want to play with me...she just gives me the blank stare...so i decided to do some homework. Gotta love it when you spend Easter weekend doing homework. Had fun in Lakefield..well all 10 minutes we were in Lakefield..good icecream..and I really wish that was Bob we saw riding his bike, with his nice tight black spandex...yum yum :P

So for my homework we had to go to a site and learn more about famous pictures that are either from movies or from huge historical events..it was pretty neat..loved the Godfather II picture...

Linds' hair

ok..well my hair night didn't go so well either..since my hair is in pretty rough shape after dying it like four times in less than 24 hours..i went to get this ends trimmed to get the split ends and thin it out...and now my hair is like three inches shorter and kinda reminds me of my sisters mullet do'...damnit! that's what i get i guess.

So i dyed linds hair last night...which sucked for her cause i'm kinda rough..I'm the Lenny of hair do's i can't do anything gentle. oh well getting the hair dye out of her hair twice last nice was a little friggin work out in its self! but it looks good, really different but i think it looks good on her so, if it is changed tomorrow when we do our petition signing..i'm gonna kick ass..cause we need someone to be taken seriously since my flamming red hair isn't gonna be..

This morning i letter cubber's out for a while and she's just wreaking havoc all over the house..now she has tons of hiding places to get into...and she runs like the damn wind..i can never catch her!

Save Darfur...aka the serious blog...

There is currently a genocide going on in the region of Darfur. Nikki brought this to my attention a few days ago - so far Nikki has ordered braclets for us to wear to show our support of the innocent people in Darfur. We have written letters to president Bush to get his act together to try and stop this tragedy. We encourage others to do the same. It has come to our attention that there is a petition that is being signed to encourage the US government to act - so Nikki and I are going around this weekend to try and get as many signatures as we can and bring this situation to the attention of people in hopes that they too might be able to help in a small way. Our signed petitions have to be returned to the Save Darfur organization by April 7th (the anniversary of the Rwanda genocide)

I Blame it on Peer Pressure

and that damn rubber arm of mine. So on a whim (and being told all day "Do it!!!") I went out after school and purchased a bleaching kit and box of hair dye. I'm going blonde...not too blonde - I don't think lol - Garrett was with me and we tried to find a shade that wouldn't make my eyebrows look worse then they already do. Nikki is gonna take the plunge and dye it for me - I promised I wouldn't be pissy with her if something went wrong. hmm...I just remembered that stores aren't open tomorrow lol - isn't that gonna suck if I have to go around all day with horrible hair - and go to work too - should be good times - I'm looking forward to it!

Family Law today proved to be interesting....interesting in the fact that I got called on to do my "presentation" even tho I had opted out of doing it. But being the bright one I am - I did my best to sputter out some words of wisdom to my class....thank god the teacher had my rule up on the overhead so I could read it quickly before she asked me questions on it. We also learned that she hates wistling...and Duffman found that super funny!

Since my internet has been down for the past couple of days - I didn't get the chance to write about corporate law. Nothing gets your attention like when ur teacher blurts out - "Suck and Blow" as I heard these words coming out of the mouth of the same man that in weeks prior told us he marked our papers while he was going to the bathroom, I had to think about why he would say such a thing. Then once I read the overhead - he was saying how things in business can go bad...thus "suck and blow at the same time." had a whole new meaning. But still...who says suck and blow to a college class??

Ok...thinking it was Thursday is an honest mistake..seriously...I've just pushed out of my head the fact that I haven't gone to Family Law this week..oh well..I learn nothing new anyways cause the class is hideously boring..I actually write notes on the inside of the desk, i get that bored! So Laticia or whatever her name is never showed up to look at the house...after i hid cubbley and everything...and the house looked and smelled nice! damn waste of time! and i got stuck having to chat with Mr. Lucas all by myself cause everyone went out for a smoke..damn smokers...k i'm bored outta my mind now, cubbley is burning rubber running around the house...she's loving it!

My Day

So today was again very productive...at least it would be if i could stop skipping school..oh well I went to Civil Procedures and bob upset me today..what with his crustiness..So Kim, Pam and I went to the Great Canadian Cabin for lunch, it was pretty good...than we went to see Pam's bridesmaid dress which was pretty, than we went to walmart and than mall. On the way home Pam made kim drive from Northgate Plaza to our place..it was only moderatly terrifying.
I napped for an hour and when I woke up Pam and Kim were going driving again so i went with them. This time Kim almost killed us when she practically stopped in the middle of Water St. as she was turning into Tim HOrton's. Oh well, this time it wouldn't have hit me on my side. Than on the way home she tried to reverse into the driveway...needless to say I almost peed myself not trying to laugh, and it just so happened that our neighbours were all out. So we played around with that for a while and finally Kim succeeded. But i must say she did a damn good job of driving.

We got our new washer, however it is frozen and we can't use it until tomorrow...everyone is just lucky i got like 100 pairs of underwear!!!!

Oi...My Damn Car...

I've discovered my car has bad karma or something...and learned that Nikki's theory that people will sometimes run at ur car and try to open the doors is true. So my little story begins.... I was driving home last nite and as I came to make a left hand turn at a stop sign there was this drunk guy on the corner hitchhiking...when he started stumbling towards the car I got a little worried being as I was alone and all - so even tho there was a car coming I decided meh I can make it and turned the corner before he got the chance to try to open my door lol. Glad I did...he lunged at the other car that drove by him...creepy people.

Then I get woken up this morning from Dan who said...go check ur car...it got broken into last nite...great I said and in my pjs I go out onto the driveway to see if anything was taken...luckily there wasn't - but who knows how long the bastards left my car door open to drain the battery. They got into Dan's truck too - but didn't take anything from there either - must have been looking for something specific. All the neighbours got hit too - like come on now - this is Peterborough...and my car was locked!! They were high tech lol.

Nikki has asked me to post on the blog...but all I did today was work - and we all know how exciting working for 8.5 hours at a retirement home can be!

I watched Alfie tonite...cute movie - wasn't spectacular tho.

I got something in the mail today for my taxes...which I have already sent in...so that's always good lol - gotta call Ryan tomorrow and see how much that little statement impacts me...damn - u would think the bank would be a little quicker on thier feet.

Washing Machines Suck

So this morning Andrew wakes me up to tell me that some guy is coming to fix the washer. Said guy was only here for like 5 minutes than he left. Andrew knocked again and told me that the washer is completely broken and it can't be fixed. The man said it would cost more to fix it than to buy a new one...so that blows ass...cause I gots laundry to do!!!!! Anyways, I let Cubbley out for the morning and she had a hayday running into our bedrooms and just snooping around. She's so adorable, than I tried to clean out her cage, but all the shavings fell on the kitchen floor..mind you these are shavings she's been peeing in for a week..so I woke up early after having six hours of sleep to do my corporate law assignment, but now i have to wait until god knows when to get a reply from my guy...this day is going to be spent doing homework..except for Family Law cause LInds and I are slackers apparently and didn't go to school all the much to get it done this week. Oh well. tomorrow i'm on a quest to find Poolhall Junkies..damn movie, I will find you!

So I was talking to Kim on MSN in the morning and she's like - portfolio isn't due until Thursday - I'm like - ok - so I don't bring it with me to school. Get to school...Kim says - oooo got that mixed up - portfolio is due today...will isn't. Dang. So I make Nikki come with me home to get it. On the way there (as mentioned before) my car decides to explode - and by explode I mean make a loud noise that makes me think it's exploding. It proceeded to get louder and louder and I'm all - well that's fuckin great...so I pull into my driveway and see that Dan is home. Go around back and I'm like - my muffler is gone - he's all I know -I heard u coming. Then doesn't he suggest I stay home and drink for the afternoon - I'm like- I have late class - he's all - if ur gonna skip - make it good. So....I did. Nikki and I took my portfolio back to school in my deisel truck...I mean firefly and I told Kim to pick Nikki up when they were done school cause I gotta go fix myself....and Nikki is coming with me. So we head to McDonald's and get some lunch and go to the liquor store then head back home where Dan had a nice little setup for us and we spent the afternoon sitting on my driveway being drunk and rowdy - it was great times!! I so needed it - and I say we were making up for the crappy reading week we had.

It was after Nikki went home that I felt like crap...drinking during the day I find - as fun as it is...it's hard to sleep after - so I felt sick for a long while - spins and everything - wasn't good. But I had fun. And there u have it.

Crazy Day

Whoa - what a crazy busy day! Got up this morning, took mom to work, got to court good and early...waited for my lawyer buddy for an hour - then did some courtly things...went to school for an interview - went ok I guess, met up with Dan to get mom's birthday cake, went to the good old doctor's office then headed into work....I'm one tired cookie.

Then just for shits and giggles - my car decided to break yesterday and Dan took it to get it fixed today - cost $60 - but it's just a bandaid...six months down the road it's expected to blow again and cost me something rediculous like $400 to fix - I'll take the bandaid right now since I don't have that kind of money to spend on my car...I need a new work wardrobe! lol

But we had a nice birthday dinner with my mom and my card made her cry - job well done.

So i think that while i'm all drunk and shit, kim took advantage of me. at walmart she said "orange hair dye" and i'm all like "wow!" so of course this very minute my hair is dying. I"m all dizzy and there are little wee spots in my eye balls..gonna barf though gotta wait for my mom to call...loved getting drunk in lindsay's driveway way too much fun!!!!! Lindsay + Dan+ Keg apple martinis+ me=piss down drunk....gotta pee later!

So here's the thing/..

Yes Nikki and I got right drunk on a Tuesday afternoon - however - we were just making up for the lack of reading week we had...adn my car blew it s muffler - so I was all - fuck it - I'm done for hte day.
